Staff, location
You hear the other people through the walls. The breakfast could have some bagels, waffles, and fruit.

I had a PLEASANT OVERNIGHT time here and would stay here again. Everything was fine with well-appointed rooms. The staff were helpful during my stay.
Their staff were kind of rude.

The cost of the stay was reasonable.
Management seemed a loof ..... air headed. Most times no one was at the front desk when you wanted them to be. The elevator only worked once out of the 8 times we needed to come or go from our room. The rooms were not insulated well .... you could hear everything going on in the rooms next to you .... even just conversations. That made it a very uncomfortable stay. The room was clean ... but could of been cleaner ..... there was cobwebs from the lamp covers to the wall on both of the bed side lamps. Ick !

One of the few area hotels with vacancies on short notice on a Friday afternoon.
The pool water was murky; I would not want to swim there. The rooms/bathrooms were run down with dirty carpet. Not a good value even for a reduced rate.

The grandkids liked swimming there.
We were very disappointed. This used to be our hotel of choice as it was always clean, well-kept and a fair price. It has really gone down-hill in the last couple of years. Upon arrival, the sink had hair in it, pillows were shabby, curtains threadbare, towels worn. We stayed 2 nights only because we had prepaid. Housekeeping didn't even vacumn the room or clean the sink after the first night! Complimentary breakfast was poor...coffee barely warm and looked like sludge.

There was a lady at the front desk keen to help when I needed extra towels. The breakfast choices were decent. I mean, they had some solid hot options, like real eggs, not that powdered junk. I also liked that it was clean, considering the price I paid.
But it wasn't cheap, you know, not exactly a bargain either.

The beds were comfy and it was quiet. we were very happy with the happy hour a surprise, we were able to drink in the nice lobby instead of our rooms. staff was extremely helpful in getting us to the destinations we came to town for. printed off maps of the area and showed us how to navigate this river town. the restaurants were close to walk to and the food was great. I would recommend this hotel for people who need a home base while touring the town.
The pool was facing the sidewalk so did not feel comfortable using.

My nother had cateract surgery and needed to be back for follow up appointment. She just wanted a clean comfortable place to spend the night. On limited social security she wanted the best value for her money...and Brookstone was it.
Exacttually what we expected.

The parking lot could be more spacious!!! Having no hand soap in the bathroom is an oversight that needs to be addressed!!! The location feels a bit isolated. Driving is necessary to enjoy the area!!!

Nice friendly staff, clean, and the price was right.
The exercise room was closed down, and no longer going to have one.

The staff was very nice.
The rooms were not perfectly clean as they should be. I dropped something on the floor, and it rolled under the bed, and it was dirty under the bed...ewwwww.
